To Receive Your CME/CPD Certificate

The CME/CPD certificate will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit claiming procedure. The process takes about 5 minutes. We thank you for your feedback as it is an important part of CME/CPD accreditation and helps improve future educational offerings.

Before 23 July 2022:

1. Access the online system via any of the following
   • Click HERE
     Please note that web browsers Mozilla Firefox 2.X or higher, or Google Chrome are recommended
   • Visit the CME/CPD Accreditation page on the event website
   • Follow the link in the email sent at the end of the event
2. Complete the anonymous online evaluation
3. Complete the credit claim form and submit
4. The CME/CPD certificate will be available for download; retain for your personal records

Kindly note that the  ISPPD-12 online evaluation​ will be active on the last day of the meeting. ​You will then be able to access it and claim your CME/CPD certificate.

Educational Objectives

After active engagement in this programme participants will be better able to:

• Apply the latest developments in prevention and treatment of pneumococcal diseases
• Demonstrate diagnosing and management of pneumococcal diseases
• Analyse epidemiology and molecular biology of pneumococci and pneumococcal diseases
• Identify new conventional methods for measuring pneumococcal carriage
• Demonstrate different approaches for pneumonia and pneumococcal disease in the time of COVID-19
• Identify educational resources and networks for exchange of knowledge and learning about pneumococcal diseases
• Recommend molecular methods pneumococcal detection and stereotyping
• Address individual needs in compliance with their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) plan

Target Audience

ISPPD-12 is a meeting place for senior researchers, scientists and physicians working in the field of pneumococci and pneumococcal diseases. The meeting will bring together physicians from the specialties of paediatrics, internal medicine, respiratory medicine, vaccinology. Because of the diverse, clinically focused educational offering, participants are able to tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of international clinicians of all levels of experience. The international target audience includes international, regional and national experts in the field of pneumococci and pneumococcal disease and its sub-specialties.
